So, I can't say much about photobucket because I didn't even know they hosted videos as well as photos, but all our videos are hosted on:
Blip.tv
and the quality is awesome. I have uploaded a 12 minute video before and it works just fine. I believe the limit is now(its always growing)750MB. It requires a little more computer savy to set up initially, BUT the end results are awesome. If you're interested check out our video archive:

If you like they way it looks, Melissa or I can help you set it up. Good luck...
So we have a camcorder, but we usually dont use it to take videos because it is really inconvenient to lug it around. We just record video on our digital camera. Our camera saves the videos as MOV (quicktime) files, which is a real shame because we have to convert them to AVI in order to edit them with our movie software. Anyway this is all irrelevant to your situation because you are using a camcorder. I think in your situation, that when you finalize the videos you might have the option of what type of file you save them as. If this is not the case and the files automatically come out as AVIs then thats no problem. If they are VOB (DVD) files it might be a little trickier because most sites wont accept VOB files because they are so big. I don't know about photobucket, but I think that you may have luck using blip.tv because when you upload video content, no matter what type of files they start out as, the site automatically converts them to flash video files, which is great because it makes them smaller and easier to play on the internet. If you are interested I can play around and see if DVD-R file types are uploadable. If it works then I can show you how to set up an account and put the videos on your blog.
We are proof that blind dates are occasionally successful. Three months later we tied the knot; thirteen years later we have two handsome boys and two beautiful girls.

So I guess when you get it figured out you can teach me. I think I might try that photo bucket thing. I was so off.
